HAPAM Poland Sp. z o.o. is the world's leading high voltage disconnectors producer. The disconnectors have been produced in Łódź since 1993. The company have been established within ABB overtaking the production of the well-known disconnectors type SGF and TFB from ABB Schaltanlagen AG in Germany.

During the next few years the factory's technical office has modernized this devices extending the voltage and current range. Moreover, it constructed new types of disconnectors including the double-breake disconnector type SDB.

In the 1994 the company was certified by DQS GmbH to meet DIN EN ISO 9001 standards.

In the short period of time the factory became the leading centre of disconnectors' production in the whole ABB group. This meant that the company assumed the responsibility for research, development and world-wide sales of disconnectors. In the same time the company became known as reliable supplier that provides the products of the highest quality and fulfills clients requests.

On 31th March 2003 the factory was bought as an organised part of business by the Dutch company Hapam and was renamed Hapam Poland Ltd. Currently, the factory in Łódź employs more than 60 people. It produces high voltage disconnectors, voltage range 72,5 to 550 kV, that are being used in almost every country in the world and are highly regarded by our customers.
